The Forum on International Physics (FIP:http://www.fit.edu/fip/) of the American Physical Society are orgainzing the following events during the March and April 2007 APS meetings. Attached are the programs for the sessions at the March and April 2007 APS meetings. FIP welcomes participation in these sessions by members of the American Chapter of the Indian Physics Association (ACIPA), the American-Korean Physics Association (AKPA), the Overseas Chinese Physics Association (OCPA), and the newly formed Iranian-American Physicists (IsAP) Network Group. The OCPA would like to encourage its members to attend these sessions.
The APS FIP will also sponsor a get-together at March meeting with ACIPA, AKPA, OCPA and IsAP. The FIP reception will be held on the evening of March 6 in Denver. An FIP reception is also planned for the April meeting in Jacksonville. We will send you details when they are known. Officers of AKPA, OCPA, ACIPA, and IrAP have been invited to make brief remarks (a few minutes) at these receptions and to present their award winners if any.
